The Next Chapter: Moving in a New Direction
You may have heard the news.
I have left JS Fitness to pursue a few new avenues.
One of those avenues involves leasing space and running my personal training business out of a local gym, Limitless Training Centre.
And the other avenue involves stepping back into the athlete development world to work as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the University of Windsor Women’s Basketball team.
The past year and a half have been rough with Covid-19, and lots of changes have happened. JS Fitness is going in a different direction to focus on 30-minute express classes, whereas I will continue focusing on semi-private personal training.
I’ll miss my JS Fitness family, and I’m grateful for all of the lessons I’ve learned over the past 3 years.
Gyms have only been open for about 10 days in Ontario, which is wild to think about compared to other places that have been open for the past year.
It’s a rough time for the fitness industry, and I don’t think anyone would have thought it would have gone on this long with Covid-19 and lockdowns.
While many changes have happened, I’m excited to be going on my own. I now have a monthly payment to meet each month, develop contracts, waiver forms, pricing, structuring training sessions, etc.
Lots of business decisions to think about..
But I’m excited for this next chapter in my life!
If you are interested in personal training or strength & conditioning, feel free to reach out. I’ll be at Limitless Training Centre taking on new clients.
